Having abandoned our pristine landscaping goals, we realized the blackberry bushes growing out of control behind the shop were simply trying to survive and thrive. It turns out, the fruits of their efforts - wild blackberries - are delicious, too. Area birds may not be happy that we discovered their stash, but there is more than enough to go around.
